When my kids were small, I tucked small notes into their lunch bags and book packs - brief messages on small scraps of paper. Sometimes I would draw or write on the lunch bag itself to remind them I was thinking of them while they were at school and I was at work.

Remembering this bit of being a working Mom in the 20th century recently inspired my newest paper craft design: a sheet of animal pal lunch box notes, 4 to a page. They're good for lunch box notes, and also for book plates, cubbie labels, name tags, gift cards or memos with a whimsical flair.
