Race Car Fever - Scrapbook Goodies

Our family has ties to the PA home of auto racing star Mario Andretti - DH was born and raised in Nazareth, where Mario and his son Michael raced for years and built the local dirt track into a pro circuit Indy Car racetrack. The Nazareth racetrack's now retired and up for sale, but racing fever lives on in this region. Oh well, I can still go to Pocono Raceway or trek home to New Hampshire International Speedway!

Here's a sheet of fun car race theme graphics I just finished making. You can use these car racing clips to design stickers, cards, party invites or for cut and paste crafts like scrapbook pages and collage.

Visit my web site for lots more free clipart - full sheet sets and single images in lots of categories.

Pirates - Arrrrrr! Make a Pirate Hat

Little Kids Pirate Craft Printable

I was looking around for easy Pirate crafts just for little kids and decided to make a simple Pirate Hat that even a preschooler can color and cut out. Kids under 6 can't fold the traditional newspaper hats without a lot of assistance.

Here's the simple design I came up with:

Let 'em color the hat black or what ever color they choose. Cut out around the edge, following the outlines, then add simple string ties or soft elastic to each end and fasten at the back of the head. Or, simpler still, just use hair pins to hold it in place.

Here's a link to the full size printable pirate hat craft sheet. Have a blast, matey.
